for many years i didn't talk to you
yet you always stayed by my side
as emptiness consumes my strayed feelings
you didn't let go, guided me to where the light is

how dare me ask you of my misery, my suffering and anguish
when I didn't even think of you when I'm good, happy and fortunate
for so many times I have broken your heart
yet you never have to think twice when I ask for forgiveness

you are the friend I never had
touched my heart, filled my emptiness
just when I thought all is lost
you gave me the greatest love of all
I never imagined how great things will be
